Drupadi is the most quietly positioned of Taman Ganesha’s six villas – a one-bedroom retreat with its own private pool, set beside the property’s holy water temple rather than anywhere near the main thoroughfare. For guests who’ve come specifically to slow down, that proximity tends to matter more than it sounds like it should.
A private garden wraps around the villa, with two separate outdoor seating areas that let the indoors and outdoors blur into each other rather than staying strictly divided. It’s built for one guest or a couple, not a crowd – the whole design leans toward removing distraction rather than adding amenities for their own sake.
Breakfast, kitchen essentials and daily housekeeping are included. What isn’t included, deliberately, is much reason to leave – the temple is a short walk through the garden, and the rest of Taman Ganesha’s shala and communal spaces are close enough to reach without ever feeling required.
